True enemies are ENEMY cards that can hurt you and leave you with ouchies. Some ENEMY cards are blank, whereas others will say things like “Adrenaline“, “Voice“, “Item” and “Special Item“. Those are easy enough for you to remember how to react when you see or defeat one. Others, however, are more rare and a bit more specific. Due to the small nature of these cards, the extra information couldn’t fit on them. Because of that, both the core game and the expansion come with an alphabetical “ENEMY CARD REFERENCE” sheet to help you quickly recall a card’s specific perks.
With that said, I plan to constantly add new cards, so you can always see (and print!) the most up-to-date ENEMY CARD REFERENCE sheet by clicking below. 😉
Try to save BYSTANDERS or use them to save yourself… If downed, they become BAIT and attract nearby enemies. If saved, you’ll be rewarded with +1 Action cards. If you own the DEADLY EXPANSION, their fates determine your KARMA…
Decoys buy you much needed time to find something to help you. If a DECOY reaches you, you’ll immediately draw the top 3 cards from the ITEM deck, pick 1, then shuffle the others back into the deck.
Hazards will affect the game board when they first enter play. 1 circle means it’ll affect the first space of the alley it was drawn from. 2 circles means it’ll affect the second space. The number inside those circles determine how much damage it’ll do to the card it strikes.
When one of the Missing Bystander cards enters play, it’s treated the same as normal BYSTANDER cards. However, if you SAVE it, you’ll get to draw a random card from the Missing Bystander deck. Each card in this deck will have its own cool perk to assist you in your fight for survival.
