I wanted to offer up a quick review of May 2024, something that I might start to do for each month going forward. Nothing fancy, just a summary of what’s been going on.
Let’s start with my growing catalogue of games!! I released DISTURBLINGS, MICRO DISTURBLINGS, and a DISTURBLINGS BOARD. I’m stoked with how they turned out and can’t wait to see what everyone else thinks.
To celebrate those releases, I ran a CROWD SALE on The Game Crafter. The sale has, admittingly, not been a very successful sale. Considering the amount of time I spent both designing and illustrating them, the ROI (return on investment) is prrrretty pitiful lol. Good thing I create games as a hobby and not to feed my family!
I also started work on two games for the 2024 BGG 1-card print-and-play contest. DEAD IN THE WATER (which is technically 2 games on 1 card) and TREE-WRECKONING.
Aside from the above, I started a new Facebook page since my current Facebook is full of people with zero interest in board games. Not their fault. They started following it when I created picture books, and once I transitioned over to board games, they stuck around. It is new though, so if you’re interested, head over and follow me there.
WHAT’S NEXT?
For June, I’ll be working on the final stages of Monstrosity, Brutal Beatdown, and Evilution.
