Description

To My Rocket Ship!, by children’s book author & illustrator A. R. Curry, is a picture book and the first in the Team EarthWorm series. In this fun-filled adventure, a young alien named, Earth, and his new friend, Worm, team up to put a stop to that mean ol’ zookeeper.

The world can be a strange place, especially to children. In this delightful book, an alien named Earth (because his belly looks like our planet!) arrives for his very first time. Not only does he not fit in, but he’s immediately approached by a mean ol’ zookeeper who wants to cage him up. But there’s hope! Earth meets a worm (Named Worm) and befriends him right from the start, teaching children it’s perfectly okay to be accepting of “differences”. Together, they work towards foiling the zookeeper’s plans and becoming better friends.

I like this book! I think It could show children how to be a good friend.

  2. Kecia

Love the creativity of this book! The illustrations were great. I loved that it’s different characters that team up not just another cute cuddly animal duo. That made it very interesting to see how it would play out.

  3. Stacy

This is a good story that you could build a series with. The illustration is cute and I can not wait to see what happens next.

This book gets my kids laughing. They love the rocket ship that appears to be an ordinary rock. Very clever.
Aliens and worms are attention grabbers in my home currently so this book checked all the right boxes.
